Recently I have found myself craving some DIY and cheap alternatives to the often pricey designer items for the home. Last weekend, I went down the path of Jonas Bohlin. The Liv Lamp (by Klong) is in my personal opinion extremely overpriced.
Yes it may be soft, beautiful, classic, but to pay over €500 for lets face it net tule, a blub and a piece of wire, you have to be crazy right? One might be forgiven for spending such money on chandeliers or very 'specific' pendants, but come on, net? So... with some help from google I came across a fantastic site where you can make this dream lamp a reality.
I bought 10 metres of net at a width nealry 2 metres. I then simply followed the instructions on the site and voila!
